We engaged Tony and his team to build our new swimming pool at our house on the Great Ocean Road. Despite the steepness of our property and unwillingness of many other tradesman to take on this difficult task, Tony and the team built us a beautiful pool and pool area. I cannot recommend them enough!

We used Tony McKenzie and team for the installation of our Barrier Reef Pool & spa back in 2020. Tony initially provided us with guidance on the pool type, filtration and equipment that best met our requirements for the location we had selected.

Installation began in late July 2020 with the scope of works including the pool/spa, paving, pool filter equipment and inspections were completed by early October 2020.

Tony and team worked very safely and efficiently to complete our pool and with minimal interruption to our day-to-day activities. 

Tony came back to do an official handover of the pool after final inspection and ran through operation of the pool equipment, cleaning regime and general maintenance requirements.

We were very happy with the outcome and have had many enjoyable days around the pool since with family & friends.

 They did the complete project from conception and design to final installation.  Our property had an existing building and garden, so the pool installation had to be integrated into the existing design. 

They did an excellent job of meeting our needs and the final design complemented our existing landscaping. Also, the property had restricted access so they had to be  very careful with pool construction to protect existing structures. 

They did a professional job always  emphasising safety.  

The scheduling was coordinated to optimise progress as weather permitted.... all of the piping and equipment installation, and the quality of work was excellent. They also did a very professional job coordinating other essential trades in completing the project.  

The final completion was done in a timely manner and we were extremely pleased with the final  product. All of the equipment and features worked as designed and their instructions for use and  maintenance was very thorough. Our pool is used regularly for lap swimming throughout the year  even in winter. The pool has been in use now for over 2 years and everything still works optimally. I  would not hesitate to recommend them to any potential pool owner.  

We met Tony McKenzie during an initial quotation for a proposed pool. This was the third quote for our pool, and by far the most detailed quotation received. Tony's knowledge of the industry and installation process was simply outstanding and led us to choose Tony and team as our preferred installers.

Throughout the installation period, timelines were specified and met, and as a customer, their commitment to meeting our needs and continual communication was simply outstanding. During this time we had several friends who work in excavation and landscaping attend the site and all commented on the initial site cut, and workmanship was the most impressive that they had seen in many years which gave us further comfort in our choice of installer.

The final installation was simply outstanding, as was their continued customer service beyond this point. As a first pool owner, we were able to contact them without concern to ask further questions in relation to the operation of the pool system and Tony even re-attended numerous times after the installation to again talk us through pump systems, pool operations, and to assist rectify unexpected code errors experienced on the heat pump.
